Hi, I’m Nate
—husband, father of four, and a man whose life has been radically reshaped by the grace of Jesus. I didn’t grow up in a Christian home, and much of my early life was marked by brokenness, addiction, and a desperate search for identity and belonging. Pornography, sex, and alcohol became the ways I tried to medicate old wounds and manage emotions I didn’t know how to face. Even after meeting Jesus in high school, I kept my deepest struggles secret, believing I could fix myself through willpower. Years of hidden sin eventually spiraled into affairs, shame, and a marriage on the brink of collapse. But in the middle of that darkness, Christ met me again—this time with a love that finally reached my heart, not just my head. Through confession, community, and real recovery, God began rebuilding me from the inside out.
Today, I walk in ongoing recovery through the power of the Gospel. My marriage has been rebuilt through honesty, repentance, and the healing work of God. I’ve learned that addiction isn’t about being “too far gone”—it’s about being invited into deeper wholeness through Jesus. My mission is grounded in Hebrews 12:1: to partner with men as they lay aside every weight and sin so they can delight in Christ and run the race set before them. Through Foundation & Fuel, I mentor men who feel stuck in the very places I once felt hopeless—porn and sex addiction, hidden habits, shame, and spiritual disconnection. I’m not a man who stands above others; I’m a brother who has been in the trenches and has seen firsthand that Jesus truly makes all things new. Foundation & Fuel exists because the Gospel is both the foundation we stand on and the fuel that empowers lasting recovery.
